Jesus Christ appeared to a nun in Poland around 1925 with messages about the Day of Justice and promises about His Divine Mercy.

This post lists the words and promises of Jesus as Saint Faustina recorded them in her diary, Divine Mercy in My Soul.  I'll be entering the promises daily.

Diary Paragraph 1588

"In the Old Covenant I sent prophets wielding thunderbolts to My people.  Today I am sending you [St. Faustina] with My mercy to the people of the whole world.

I do not want to punish aching mankind, but I desire to heal it, pressing it to my Merciful Heart.  

I use punishment when they themselves force Me to do so;

My hand is reluctant to take hold of the sword of justice.

Before the Day of Justice I am sending the Day of Mercy."

Diary Paragraph 687

"Say unceasingly the chaplet that I have taught you. 

Whoever will recite it will receive great mercy at the hour of death.

Priests will recommend it to sinners as their last hope of salvation.

Even if there were a sinner most hardened, if he were to recite this chaplet only once, he would receive grace from My infinite mercy.

I desire to grant unimaginable graces to those souls who trust in My mercy."
